Tyler Shields' New Photo Shoot: Is Heather Morris "Barbie" or Battered?

On the popular television show "Glee," the characters have little more to watch out for than Sue Sylvester and the occasional wayward slushee. One of the characters' real-life alter egos, however, is contending with a fair amount of criticism at the moment in response to a recent photo shoot.

Heather Morris has easily been a fan favorite with her portrayal of Cheerio Brittany, but the starlet's recent shoot with Tyler Shields in giving even major "Gleeks" pause.

Shields describes the photos as exploring the idea that "even Barbie can bruise," but critics are accusing him of glamorizing domestic violence. Morris, clad in 1950s dresses, sporting a shiner under her eye and even being tied up with electrical cord, is not hard to see as a victim of faux domestic violence.

The photos can be seen here.

Readers, do you think the shoot is all in good fun or crossing a line?

Demi Lovato Responds to Weight Criticism at VMAs

Demi Lovato took the stage at the VMA's tonight - along with Chord Overstreet - presenting an award in front of millions of viewers.

It only took seconds after the singer graced the stage for negative tweets about her weight and figure to flood Twitter.

Lovato, who is fresh out of rehab for battling self-injury and eating disorders, took to her Twitter account to voice her opinion.

After one user tweeted "arms were look a tad bit chunky," Lovato responded: "who cares." The tweet was quickly followed "Guess what, I'm healthy and happy, and if you're hating on my weight you obviously aren't. :) #UNBROKEN"

Twilight star Ashley Greene tweeted her support shortly after, calling the singer "beautiful."

Readers, how do you think Demi looked tonight? Do you care if she put on weight after rehab? We think she looked gorgeous!

"The Hunger Games" Sneak Peek Leaves Much to be Desired

While most viewers tuned in to the VMAs for the crazy fashion (we're looking at you, Nicki), fans of "The Hunger Games" series were treated to an exclusive first look at the movie.

As seen here on TooFab.com, the trailer shows Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss battling for her life. Although the clip was much anticipated, the brief look failed to live up to expectations. Fans waiting for a major look at the film, due out March 2012,were disappointed.

Regardless, those faithful to the series will wait with baited breath for future looks at what is sure to be a blockbuster.

Was MTV's Amy Winehouse Tribute Hypocritical?

Singer Amy Winehouse was honored tonight with a tribute at the MTV Video Music Awards, but some are wondering if MTV's tribute was controversial.

Winehouse's tribute came at the end of a show where cameras captured multiple stars sipping alcoholic beverages even though the singer was known to battle substance abuse. While Russell Brand and Tony Bennett spoke to Amy's talent, it was Bruno Mars, who plead guilty to felony drug possession, who sang "Valerie" in her memory.

Readers, do you think the tribute was marred by MTV's choices? Or do you think it was sweet and spot-on?

Proud Mama: Beyonce Announces Pregnancy at VMAs

If you watched MTV's Video Music Awards tonight, several things are clear: poor Britney was a tad awkward next to Lady Gaga's alter ego, Russel Brand's Amy Winehouse tribute was sweet if not oddly energetic and Beyonce is going to be the coolest mom ever.

After announcing her first pregnancy on the black carpet, Beyonce took the stage in Dolce & Gabbana (and heels, mind you) to rock the stage. If you didn't tear up when Bey opened her tuxedo jacket and rubbed her belly (cue shots of Jay-Z looking like the happiest soon-to-be dad in the world), then there's no hope for you.

What are your hopes for the little superstar-to-be? One thing this baby can scratch off its list? Dancing on the VMA stage!
