Fashion Week Tragedy

We are all feeling the loss of late, Alexander McQueen who passed away this morning in London. McQueen blew us out of the water with his one-of-a-kind designs and exquisite masterpieces. His work was truly an inspiration to all, and is known worldwide. He will live on through his clothes and the people that wear them. It was truly a loss and he will forever be missed.

Interview's 40th Anniversary

This past week Interview Magazine celebrated its 40th anniversary in New York, and the venue for their celebration quite the well kept secret. Once a YMCA underneath the Hudson Hotel this club has become one of the city's hot spots for fun and fashion week. "Good Units" as the club is called is loved for its subterranean allure, and has received pleasant reviews. Celebrity and model Naomi Campbell reminiced of the hotel when it first opened never knowing what exist beneath. Naomi says she loves the club and the dancing, which remind her of the eighties. All that in mind there is one thing this unfinished basement turned club doesn't have, and that's cell phone reception. Interview chairperson, Peter Brant didn't mind too much joking he said, "Yeah, so people will actually have to talk to each other." In deed Mr. Brant...or they'll be off in a corner somewhere with their cell phones to the ceiling whispering, "Give me one bar, just one bar." Beside the reception being an "issue" there were plenty of stars celebrating amongst Naomi Campbell. For instance, model Frederique van der Wal, actress Kate Bosworth, designer Lazaro Hernandez, artist Nate Lowman, and even Mary-Kate Olsen were all in attendance.

Kim Kardashian To Produce New PR Reality Show "The SPINdustry"

From reality star to reality show producer, this new title seems like it could be a good fit for our little Kimmy. Kim Kardashian, 29, has drawn in viewers in front of the screen, so we have a feeling she might be able to do just the same form behind the scenes as well. The Hollywood starlet has signed on as Executive Producer, teaming up with Bunim/Murray Productions (who created her own show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians") for the new television reality special, "The SPINdustry". The show shadows public relations agency Command PR, who works with very high profile clients such as Belvedere Vodka and has put on fabulous events for the likes of J.Lo and Lady Gaga. We've taken a look into the Fashion PR world recently with Bravo's new hit series "Kell On Earth", and now we'll be able to see what a non-fashion PR company deals with. I have no doubt that this show will contain just as much drama as Kell, and maybe we'll even get to see the other Dash sisters cameo, we'll have to watch and see! The show premiers February 21 on E! network. Can't wait for TV to get just a little bit better!

I love bebe and wear their clothes all the time, so I can't wait for our collection to come out.” The collection will soon be available at all bebe international locations as well. The Quick Tip: What All the Stars Are Doing

Have you been updating you Facebook and Twitter accounts? Are you staying connected with the top social media networks? Do you see a lot more of your favorite celebrities on every corner, billboard, and magazine? Well if the answer is yes to all three, than you, and the PR biz is doing it's job.

We all know the power house(hold) Kardashian family when they made their debut a few years back on the hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Ever since then, the three beauties Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe have taken their names to the next level. Perfumes, clothing lines, and their own stores basically cover the fashion world for the K's.

Stepping out of the glam world for a minute, the girls also love working out. Their tweets about heading to the gym bright and early even though its tough and the workouts are intense are rewarding and motivating. Now we know celebs really don't wake up and snap they look perfect.
Kim and Khloe really wanted to take their bodies to the next level and teamed up with QuickTrim to make it happen. Since they have become the faces of this new miracle drug, if you will, stores have been selling out of the stuff! Another genius idea, not only for the girls, but for the PR and marketing people to think to do this.

It has really taken itself to the next level, and promoting products with well known, beautiful celebrities really makes all the difference. So many celebrities are gearing up for those endorsement deals, but can we really blame them? It's such a genius idea and you can look up any statistics to see to increase in sales since a celebrity stepped in. The Kardashians are just one example of how the PR world, celebrity clientele, and product promotion do wonders together.
