Making a quick buck these days can be a little rough for some people, but for CEO Katherine Rothman it's a piece of cake. KMR Communications has extended offers to bloggers who write about the firm's specialties in exchange for a fee. There has been a bit of chatter about her tactics and whether or not it makes the blogger bias about the topic/specialty he or she writes about. Rothman views it as a "win win situation." I wonder how this will effect he blogosphere and firm's that might take on Rothman's new offer.

REAL HOUSEWIVES: THE JERSEY GIRLS ARE BACK!!! :-D
YES! YES! YES! This is the season that began my housewife addiction, not to mention Jersey girls are the most fun. Last season dished out some hard core backstabbing, the coldest of rumors, and flipping allegations all surrounding one thing; "The Book." After all of that, who wouldn't need a two year vacation from reality t.v., but technically the ladies weren't gone for just the break. These women knew their worth, and they wanted their money to reflect their ratings, and why shouldn't they? After all their freshman season was the highest rated "Real Housewives" series ever in all demographics, averaging 2.55 million total viewers and 1.91 million adults 18-49. The series' first season reunion was Bravo's most watched Housewives reunion special ever. Taupe Madness

New York Post Charges For Web Access
The secret is out, and much sooner than the New York Times was hoping. This is because they want to avoid competitors from moving forward with their plans for the upcoming year, and future start of 2011. Top guns at the New York times have formally introduced their idea to have readers charged to access their website after a certain amount of consultation visits. This will take affect the beginning of next year, but already The New York Times is preparing for this change by designing a new foundation to provide a smooth experience using multiple platforms. This means that if versions of a program run on Windows and the Macintosh, the software supports multiple platforms. The New York Times is pulling out all the stops to prepare for the future, and stay ahead of the economy, which is one motive behind their new business model aside from the fact that they believe their readers are loyal and will pay for their professional journalism and award-winning digital content and services.
"The new approach, referred to as the metered model, will offer users free access to a set number of articles per month and then charge users once they exceed that number. This will enable NYTimes.com to create a second revenue stream and preserve its robust advertising business. It will also provide the necessary flexibility to keep an appropriate ratio between free and paid content and stay connected to a search-driven Web." A Lesson On Guidos
There has been a lot of controversy since the airing of MTV's new hit show The Jersey Shore. The cast members have took it upon themselves to be self proclaimed guidos and guidettes, which is a slang word for an Italian. People have taken offense to these remarks and are speaking out.Shopaholics, BEWARE!
I think by now everyone is getting a little sick of this cold winter weather. Bundling up before stepping outside is just not that fun anymore, especially when stores are releasing their spring lines already! It is torture, for sure. BUT, yes I started a sentence with but (Oops) there is something huge to look forward to. Besides shedding some layers for the spring/summer sun that's just around the corner you might want to stock up on some layering since one of our favorite department stores will be opening an outlet! Yes, I said it: an outlet.
CEO, Terry J. Lundgren thought it was time to open an outlet, and we couldn't agree more. Competition like Nordstrom's Rack and Saks Off Fifth has been getting stiffer, and Bloomingdale's was starting to feel it. Since the recession hit Bloomingdale's has seen a pull back from consumers and their spending at the department store. To keep everyone happy and Bloomingdale's afloat, this was obviously the right thing to do! Katy Perry for Proactiv
Proactiv has been one of the leading skin care products within the dermatology industry. Celebrities such as Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mandy Moore have all endorsed Proactiv acne products. Pop singer Katy Perry has recently signed an endorsement deal with Proactiv. Perry will appear in television and online marketing campaigns sharing her personal experience with fighting acne. Direct Marketing Company, Guthy-Renker, is renowned for involving celebrities in Proactiv campaign ads and will continue to do so with Perry. Will this campaign open up more doors for Perry in the future? Only time can tell and the MSMPR team cannot wait to see Perry in action! Jersey Shore Keeping Up With Their Tweeps

Shoe Wish List: Jimmy Choo Zap Sandal

Jimmy Choo has taken an amazing sandal and made it outrageously fun! That's right a sandal that not only looks great but also brings you back to being a little girl. Remember when you were a little girl and you first saw those barbie sneakers staring at you in the store and you couldn't resist but touch them. At that first touch you realized it got even better when it lit up into bright lights of pink and blue! Well you can have that feeling again without sporting the childish barbie sneakers. Jimmy Choo has added a ZAP of light to their latest sexy sandal. The Jimmy Choo Zap Sandal is a perfect match for the sexy woman that still knows how to have some giggles.

My Top Favorite Gowns at the Golden Globe Awards 2010
We all love the drama's on television like Glee, True Blood, Mad Men, The Good Wife, and Dexter. Others of us love the humor, thrill, and drama of movies like Avatar, The Blind Side, Precious, and The Hangover. While many of us enjoy for one reason or another to watch actors and actresses walk up on stage and accept an award thanking everyone, and us-their fans for sitting on our butts and watching them provide great entertainment. What is not up for debate is that somewhere before the show starts, and stars begin to arrive the red carpet is transformed into a runway. Aside from the awards all that becomes important are that the designers, the jewelry, the handbags, and the shoes are at their highest caliber because at the end of the night all any magazine, newspaper, website or radio station will talk about or remember is, THE FASHION. That folks truly is what I believe we all love about the awards! So why wouldn't I highlight those beauty queens and divas of the night whose gowns made me want to relive my prom night. Here are my top 10 favorite choices of BEST dressed at the Golden Globe Awards 2010!
Penelope Cruz looked absolutely ravishing in a Giorgio Armani Privé lace gown that features a dramatic neckline beaded in a floral pattern, horizontal ribbon striping with fitted sleeves, and Chopard jewels. Her hair pulled back to one side and curled away from her face adds elegance and character to her look, and the makeup is simple and natural allowing for her natural beauty to reflect the beauty of the gown.
Lea Michele looked like a fabulous dark princess in a black strapless chiffon Oscar de la Renta gown with Chopard jewelry.
Jennifer Aniston didn't disappoint in her simple, sleek, sexy black Valentino gown with a thigh-high split and a Fred Leighton 19th Century enamel and gold Egyptian Revival bracelet.
Julie Bowen shined on the red carpet wearing a black Georges Hobeika fitted gown with a sweet heart neckline with a black pailette and crystal bodice. Her hair loosely pulled back, and jewelry kept to a minimum she let the dress speak for itself.
Rose Byrne wore gorgeous royal purple gown by Lanvin paired with black patent “Maniac” pumps, a clutch by Judith Leiber, and vintage jewels from Madison Avenue jeweler Stephen Russell. Rose’s wore her hair in soft wavy curls created by celeb stylist Harry Josh.
Sandra Bullock looked super sweet in her purple strapless Bottega Veneta from Veneta's spring 2010 collection. She accessorized with gorgeous grey 40 carat diamond drop earrings, and yellow 20 carat diamonds in blackened gold and a bold diamond ring from Lorraine Schwartz. Sandra also won best actress in a motion picture drama for the Blind Side.
Sophia Vergara looked sheek and modern in a gray Carolina Herrera dress with swipe of crimson twisted into the top of her strapless gown. She wore elegant Chopard jewelry and finished her look by loosely pulling her back.
Olivia Wilde in a jet and silver sequined Gucci evening gown -- which she will auction off after the show to benefit relief efforts in Haiti. She also rocked Tiffany & Co. jewelry and her hair pulled back into a long curly pony.
While not everyone thought Fergie was best dressed at the Golden Globes I personally loved that she did a soft elegant lavender (periwinkle) chiffon Elie Saab gown. As for her look in its entirety there really wasn't much else. She wore dark wavy long locks, barely any makeup, and a diamond bracelet. Her stylist could've done a lot more with her look from the neck up to make her stand out a bit more.
Emily Blunt looked prettier in pink and as elegant as ever in a pink tulle and chiffon strapless gown with ruffle detail by Dolce & Gabbana. She wore Jimmy Choo “Quinze” booties and a Ferragamo pewter minaudiere with metal and leather inserts.Rebuliding Haiti: One Chip At A Time
The earthquake in Haiti has not only effected Haitians, but has a tremendous effect on the rest of the world. Food banks, clothing drives, and cash drops have been on every corner, in every store, and all over the Internet. Celebrities have been donating millions of dollars and trying to lend a hand in any way they can. Families have adopted Haitian children to give them a chance at life-a healthy one.
Among the special guests is the one and only Beth Shak. The World Champion female poker player will be donating a silent auction poker package for all you players and fans! The package includes goodies like: Full Tilt playing cards and polo T-shirt, an auto-graphed photo of the star, and a one hour private lesson by the world champion and one of the most popular female players. This champ has been named "World's Sexiest Poker Player" by UK's News of the World. Now who wouldn't want to win that?!Tuesday, January 19, 2010

The venue or date has not yet been confirmed, however, there are rumors that MAC could be a possible location. Wherever the twins do decide to present their collection will not have any effect on how successful the turn out will be. Cosmo: The Thong is Dead?!

Cosmopolitan has done it again with another sexy-fun-info article in their February 2010 issue. The article, "The Thong is Dead!" caught my interest because the booty short has become my personal "wonderbra." More than 99% of my personal underwear consist of this wonderful creation. From color, to lace, to little cute bows on the front the booty short has done wonders for little petite girls like myself with just enough to pull of this sexy cheeky look.
The thong has been around since the early 1970's, and only became popular over the decades. When the thong was released for the first time on the runway in Victioria's Secrets first ever lingerie show in 1995 the thong not only became popular, it became an epidemic. Designers like Juicy Couture and Frankie B built a new line of jeans that would show off the many colors and fabrics of the thong called, the "hipster" jean. The power of the thong hit first when Monica Lewinsky confessed she used hers to initiate her affair with former President Bill Clinton. From there the thong became the inspiration to R&B singer, Sisqo for his 1999 smash hit entitled, "The Thong Song." Finally, celebrity Britney Spears exposed her sparkly rhinestone thong during her performance at the 2000 MTV music awards, and from there the thong hit the peak of its career.

Then a new generation was born! One with less punch than the 80's lived up too, girls were no longer into sending the "casual sex" message that screamed thong, and designers were looking to bring class back to the mainstream. Then like most trends in fashion (while not forgotten) the thong was out of season, and a new wave of hottness hit the big screen, then the mainstream, and before you knew it the Victoria Secret thong section became more idol than active. The blame?...the peek-a-boo of underwear, The bootie short.

The bootie short became the tease that all men crave in the bedroom; leaving just enough for their imagination. While men are taking advantage of this luxury enjoying this new sexy eye candy; women in general are enjoying the comfort of wearing them, the fun in shopping for them, and the confidence it brings to their sex appeal. Lets face it! All of us wish we had the "lovely lady lumps" of fabulous Kim Kardashian, but it's just not going to happen ladies; not for all of us anyway. The undeniable feature this simple piece of material brings has made the booty short the most affordable, comfortable, and sweat free method to get ladies the butt they've always desired.

Sales for the cheekless thong have dropped big time, much lower than the hipster jean for which the thong inspired. Butt hugging boy short sales have doubled in stores like Eberjey and Cosabella. "Cosabella," a popular Hollywood lingerie brand also confirmed in the article that their boy short is their fastest selling item. The secret to boy short fame is that little seam running down the middle of our butts that highlight the curves of every womans, boot-tay. Women love the facelift this sexy undie gives their newly found booties, and without a doubt is the sexiest thing known to men and their subconscience. With that said why would'nt the thong be dead?! After all! :-\ ...who really enjoyed having that permanent wedgie?!...Yeah, exactly, not me either.
